abstract | 1. A new dermatological cream containing fusidic acid, which is formed in situ in an oxygen-free medium using sodium fusidate, said cream containing fusidic acid formed in situ by converting sodium fusidate, and a cream base containing at least one ingredient each type: primary and secondary emulsifiers, a waxy product, a co-solvent, acid and water, preferably purified water. 2. The cream according to claim 1, wherein said fusidic acid is present in an amount of from about 0.1 to 25% by weight, preferably from about 0.5 to 5% by weight, and even more preferably about 2% by weight, and in which the amount of sodium fusidate used for in situ formation of fusidic acid is in the range of about 0.1 to 25% by weight, preferably about 0.5 to 5% by weight, and even more preferably about 2.08 % by weight, and these primary and secondary emulsifiers are selected from the group consisting of ketostearyl alcohol, ketomacrogol-1000, polysorbate-80, Span-80 and the like, either one at a time or in any combination thereof, so as to form a proportion of about 1 to 15% by weight, preferably 15% by weight and even more preferably 14.5% by weight, said waxy product is selected from the group consisting of white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, hard paraffin and the like, either alone or in any of them combinations mayor as to form a proportion of from about 5 to 20% by weight |
