titleOfInvention DELIVERY TUBE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING LIQUID FROM A FABRIC AREA
abstract 1. A system for storing fluid from a tissue region, comprising: a reduced pressure source configured to supply a reduced pressure; a dispenser configured to distribute a reduced pressure; a delivery tube having a cavity and configured to transmit reduced pressure from a reduced pressure source to a distributor and receiving fluid from a tissue region through a dispenser, and an absorbent material located at least in a portion of the cavity and configured to absorb fluid from the tissue area, while the cavity has a part with absorbent material and a part without absorbent material. 2. A device for storing fluid from a tissue region, comprising: a delivery tube having a cavity and configured to transmit reduced pressure to the tissue region and receive fluid from the tissue region, and an absorbent material located at least in a portion of the cavity, the cavity having an absorbent portion material and part without absorbent material. 3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that the absorbent material at least partially covers the inner surface of the cavity. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that said cavity includes a plurality of recesses. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that said cavity includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of ribs, wherein the plurality of recesses are separated from one another by an edge from said plurality of ribs.
