titleOfInvention | OIL CONTAINING ONE OR MORE LONG LENGTH POLYESATURATED FATTY ACIDS IN THE FORM OF PHOSPHOLIPIDS PRODUCED FROM BIOMASS |
abstract | 1. A method for extracting long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from a source, comprising the steps of:! a) mixing the source with oil containing at least one emulsifier,! b) grinding the mixture to obtain a suspension and! c) compressing the resulting suspension to obtain an oil containing said long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid, dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid, arachidonic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, and mixtures thereof. ! 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are in the form of phospholipids. ! 4. The method according to claim 1, in which the source is dried biomass, for example, selected from zooplankton, crustaceans, microalgae, fungi or by-products of the fishing industry. ! 5. The method according to claim 1, in which the oil is selected from oil based on SCT, edible vegetable oil, essential oil, or mixtures thereof. ! 6. The method according to claim 1, in which the emulsifiers are selected from emulsifiers, characterized by a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, less than 7.! 7. The method according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, in which the emulsifiers are selected from monoglycerides, diglycerides, sorbitan monoesters, such as sorbitan monolaurate, sorbitan monopalmitate, sorbitan monooleate, sorbitan monostearate, polypropylene glycol monoesters, polyglycerol mixtures thereof. ! 8. The method according to claim 1, in which the pressing is carried out at a pressure in the range from 10 to 500 bar. ! 9. |
