titleOfInvention ABSORBENT PRODUCTS WITH HUMIDITY SENSORS
abstract 1. A sensor for detecting the presence of an aqueous liquid, where the sensor comprises a substrate having at least one type of moisture detecting material mounted or printed on a layer of said substrate; the specified material contains at least one electron-donor leuco dye and one electron-deficient receptor; the detecting material of said sensor has a dry color, and the color fades or disappears upon contact with a liquid containing water. ! 2. The sensor according to claim 1, where the specified electron donor dye compound is selected from group A, including crystal violet lactone (blue); malachite green lactone (green); 1,3-dimethyl-6-diethylaminofluorane; 6-diethylamino benzo [α] fluorane (red); 3-cyclohexylmethylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluorane (black); benzoyl leukomethylene blue (blue); ethyl leukomethylene blue (blue); methoxybenzoyl leukomethylene blue (blue); 2- (phenyliminoethanediylidene) -3,3-trimethylindoline (red); 1,3,3-trimethylindolino-7'-chloro-β-naphthospiropyran (purple); di-β-naphthospiropyran (purple); N-acetylauramine (yellow); N-phenylauramine (yellow); and rhodamine B lactam (red). ! 3. The sensor according to claim 1, wherein said electron-deficient receptor is selected from group B, including zinc salicylate and bisphenol A.! 4. The sensor of claim 1, wherein said determinant material is on a layer of said substrate, that is, either a top sheet of said substrate or a bottom sheet that is visible to a caregiver. ! 5. The sensor of claim 1, wherein the detection material also contains a wettability agent or a hydrophilic water-soluble agent. ! 6. The sensor according to claim 1, where def
