The peptide derivative of the formula (I):! ! wherein: ! - ζ represents a hydrogen atom, tyrosine, Y- [linker] - or Zn chelate group such as cysteine, C- [linker] -, N-acetyl-cysteine, N-mercaptoacetyl (HS-CH2-CO-), hydroxamic acid (HO-NH-CO-) or optionally substituted hydroxyquinoline,! - AA1 represents Q or Glp,! - AA2 represents K, R or H, preferably R,! - AA3 is Y, G, N, F or F (X), preferably F or F (X),! - AA4 is P, S or S (OAlk), preferably S or S (OAlk),! - AA5 is K or R, preferably R,! - C- [linker] - means Cys- [NH- (CH2) n-CO] -, where n is an integer between 1 and 20,! - Y- [linker] - means Tyr- [NH- (CH2) n'-CO] -, where n 'is an integer between 1 and 20,! - F (X) means phenylalanine, the phenyl group of which is substituted by one or more halogen atoms,! - S (OAlk) means serine, the hydroxyl group of which is substituted by a linear or branched alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms,! - the specified AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4 and AA5 independently can be either in the L-configuration or D-configuration, and any one of AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4 and AA5 may optionally be a β-amino acid, aza-amino acid or β- aza amino acid; ! where, if the peptide derivative contains cysteine, said peptide derivative is optionally a dimer,! provided that the peptide is not QRFSR, QHNPR, QRGPR, YQRFSR or GlpRFSR. ! 2.
