titleOfInvention POLYCARBONATES WITH IMPROVED FLOW CHARACTERISTICS CONTAINING CYCLIC OLIGOMERS
abstract 1. Polycarbonate containing one or more structures having the general formulas (II) to (V)! ! ! ! ! in which ! phenyl rings independently of each other may contain one or two substituents selected from among alkyls with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 8 and halogen, and also! X is a single bond, alkylene with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 6, alkylidene with the number of carbon atoms from 2 to 5 or cycloalkylidene with the number of carbon atoms from 5 to 6, which may contain an alkyl substituent with the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl from 1 to 6,! And the number of structural units from (II) to (V) in total is from 50 to 1210 ppm, in terms of the underlying polycarbonate,! containing from 0.1 to 1.2 wt.%, in terms of the entire composition,! cyclic oligomers of the general formula (I)! ! where n is an integer from 2 to 6, as well! Z represents the remainder of formula (1a)! ! in which R1 and R2 independently represent hydrogen atoms (H), alkyl with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 8, preferably H or alkyl with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 4, particularly preferably hydrogen or methyl, as well! X has the meaning indicated above. ! 2. Polycarbonate according to claim 1, wherein the number of structural units from (II) to (V) in total is from 70 to 750 ppm. ! 3. Polycarbonate according to claim 1, wherein the number of structural units from (II) to (V) in total is from 100 to 600 ppm. ! 4. The polycarbonate according to claim 1, containing from 0.2 to 0.8 wt.% Cyclic oligomers of the formula (1). ! 5. The polycarbonate according to claim 1, wherein in the formulas (I) through (V) the phenyl rings are unsubstituted. ! 6. The polycarbonate according to claim 1, wherein X in the formulas (II) to (V) is isopropylidene or a single bond. ! 7. Application by
