titleOfInvention | PAIN-LIKE APATITIVE CALCIUM-PHOSPHATE CEMENT |
abstract | 1. A composition useful as a bone substitute, containing one or more calcium phosphate compounds together with a painkiller, containing at least 50% α-TCR by weight. ! 2. The composition according to claim 1, where the composition is in the form of a powder. ! 3. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, where the composition has a specific BET area of from about 1000 m2 · kg-1 to about 300000 m2 · kg-1. ! 4. The composition according to claim 1, where at least one calcium phosphate compound is selected from the group consisting of CDA, DCPA, DCPD, TTCP, or a mixture thereof. ! 5. The composition according to claim 1, additionally containing a powdered calcium phosphate compound selected from the group consisting of HA, β-TCP and HRV. ! 6. The composition according to claim 1, containing at least 80% α-TCP in weight. ! 7. The composition according to claim 1, where the painkiller is a morphine-related substance. ! 8. The composition according to claim 1, where the painkiller is a local anesthetic. ! 9. The composition of claim 8, where the local anesthetic is an aminoamide or an amino ester. ! 10. The composition according to claim 9, where the amino ester is selected from benzocaine, chlorprocaine, cocaine, procaine and tetracaine. ! 11. The composition of claim 9, wherein the aminoamide is selected from bupivacaine, chirocaine, levobupivacaine, lidocaine, mepivacaine, prilocaine, ropivacaine, articaine, and trimecaine. ! 12. A method of obtaining a composition according to any one of claims 1 to 11, comprising the following stages:! a) providing calcium phosphate powder, liquid, and painkiller; ! b) mixing the components to obtain a suspension; and! c) removing liquid from the suspension to obtain a solid; and! d) optionally pressing and grinding the resulting solid into a calcium phosphate powder loaded with |
