titleOfInvention EPOXY RESIN CONTAINING THERMOPLASTES AND THEIR PROCESSING BY EXTRUSION OR PRESSURE MOLDING
abstract 1. The use of extruded or injection molded products to stiffen and reinforce parts, especially parts for large household appliances or body parts, such as body frames, doors, trunk lids, hoods and/or roof parts in the automotive industry , moreover, molded products made by extrusion or injection molding consist of a mixture of substances containing a mixture of polymers, which includes at least one epoxy resin and one or more thermoplastics, characterized in that the thermoplastics are selected from such copolymers that contain at least three different monomers, and the fact that the mass fraction of thermoplastics in the entire mixture of substances is in the range from 0.5 to 40 wt.%. ! 2. Use according to claim 1, characterized in that the thermoplastic or thermoplastics are selected from those in which at least one monomer is a hydrocarbon without heteroatoms and with at least one C=C double bond, and at least one other monomer is an optionally substituted acrylate, or optionally a substituted acrylic acid ester. ! 3. The use according to claim 2, characterized in that the thermoplastic or thermoplastics are selected from the following copolymers: styrene-butadiene-(meth)acrylate, styrene-butadiene-ester (meth)acrylic acid, ethylene-ether (meth)acrylic acid-glycidyl (meth)acrylic acid ester, (meth)acrylic acid ethylene ester-maleic anhydride, in each case these may be random copolymers or block copolymers. ! 4. Application according to claim 1, characterized in that the mixture of substances additionally contains an epoxy hardener.
