titleOfInvention | INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR REGENERATING AN ABSORBENT SOLUTION |
abstract | 1. A method for regenerating an enriched amine solution, the method includes:! interaction of the process stream containing the acidic component with the regenerated amine solution in the absorber; ! removing at least a portion of the acidic component from the process stream by absorbing this acidic component into the regenerated amine solution in the absorber and thereby obtaining an enriched amine solution, an acidic component-depleted stream and heat; ! supplying at least one of said streams - a process stream or an acid-depleted stream - into at least one heat exchanger and thereby transferring heat to a heat transfer fluid to obtain a heated heat transfer fluid; and! regenerating the rich amine solution by heating this rich amine solution in a regenerator to obtain a regenerated amine solution and a stream saturated with an acid component, where the heat of the heated heat transfer fluid is used for regeneration. ! 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the rich amine solution is heated with steam generated in the reboiler and heat from the heated heat transfer fluid is supplied to the reboiler. ! 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein said amine solution contains a chemical solvent selected from the group consisting of monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), diisopropanolamine (DIPA), N-methylethanolamine, triethanolamine (TEA), N- methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), piperazine, N-methylpiperazine (MP), N-hydroxyethylpiperazine (HEP), 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP), 2- (2-aminoethoxy) ethanol, 2- (2- tert-butylaminopropoxy) ethanol, 2- (2-tert-butylaminoethoxy) ethanol (TBEE), 2- (2-tertamyl) |
