titleOfInvention SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING ACID COMPONENT FROM TECHNOLOGICAL FLOW
abstract 1. A method for controlling the amount of acid component absorbed from the process stream, including:! (a) contacting the absorbent solution with a process stream within the absorber to absorb an acid component from the process stream, thereby producing an enriched absorbent solution and a lean process stream having a reduced acid component; ! (b) regenerating the rich absorbent solution to obtain a semi-lean absorbent solution; ! (c) further regenerating the first portion of the semi-lean absorbent solution to obtain a lean absorbent solution; ! (d) supplying the lean absorbent solution to the absorber as the first portion of the absorbent solution of step (a); ! (e) feeding a second part of the semi-lean absorbent solution to the absorber as the second part of the absorbent solution of step (a); and! (f) controlling the amount of the second portion of the semi-lean absorbent material supplied to the absorber in step (e) in order to control the amount of acid component absorbed from the process stream. ! 2. The method of claim 1, wherein further regenerating step (c) comprises heating the first portion of the semi-lean absorbent solution using steam generated by the reboiler, and the method further comprises:! maintaining the energy used to generate steam produced by the reboiler at a constant level in step (f). ! 3. The method of claim 1, wherein step (f) further comprises:! increasing the amount of the second part of the semi-lean absorbent supplied to the absorber in step (e) in order to increase the amount
