titleOfInvention METHOD FOR REMOVING SULFUR CONTAINING RESIDUAL COMPOUNDS FROM ALKALINE RAW MATERIAL FLOW (OPTIONS)
abstract 1. A method for removing residual sulfur-containing compounds from an alkaline feed stream, comprising:! a) feeding a stream of alkaline raw materials containing alkali and sulfur-containing compounds to a post-treatment unit, the sulfur-containing compounds being less than 500 ppm. by weight in the form of sulfur; ! b) contacting the alkaline feed stream with a layer of solid adsorbent in a post-treatment unit; ! c) adsorption on the adsorbent bed of disulfides introduced into the post-treatment unit as part of the sulfur-containing compounds in the alkaline feed stream; and! d) withdrawal from the post-treatment plant of the obtained purified alkaline stream containing less than 20 ppm by weight (in the form of sulfur) of sulfur-containing compounds. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the sulfur-containing compounds in the alkaline feed stream are less than 100 ppm. by weight in the form of sulfur. ! 3. The method according to claim 1, in which the sulfur-containing compounds in the obtained purified alkaline stream are less than 5 ppm by weight in the form of sulfur. ! 4. The method according to claim 1, in which the adsorbent is activated carbon. ! 5. The method according to claim 1, in which at least part of the adsorbent is subjected to regeneration. ! 6. A method for removing residual sulfur-containing compounds from an alkaline feed stream, including:! a) the flow of alkaline raw materials containing alkali and sulfur-containing compounds in the installation of post-treatment, and sulfur-containing compounds are less than 500 ppm by weight in the form of sulfur; ! b) the supply of oxidizing agent to the post-treatment unit; ! c) mixing and contacting the alkaline feed stream with an oxidizing agent in a post-treatment unit in the presence of a catalyst layer containing supported metal phthalocyanine; ! d) conversion of mercaptans present as part of
