abstract 1. The composition of amphotericin B containing! (a) amphotericin B, optionally in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 10 mg / ml of the composition; ! (b) one or more esters of glycerol and fatty acids; ! (c) one or more polyethylene oxide-containing phospholipids or one or more polyethylene oxide-containing fatty acid esters; and optional! (d) glycerol in an amount of less than about 10% by weight. ! 2. The composition according to claim 1, where the esters of glycerol and fatty acids contain from about 32 to about 52% by weight of fatty acid monoglycerides, from about 30 to about 50% by weight of fatty acid diglycerides, from about 5 to about 20% by weight weight of triglycerides of fatty acids and more than about 60% by weight of mono-, di - and triglycerides of oleic acid. ! 3. The composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the polyethylene oxide-containing phospholipids contain a saturated fatty acid ester of C8-C22 and salts of polyethylene glycol phosphatidylethanolamine, preferably salts of distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine of polyethylene glycol selected from the group consisting of salt of distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine-polyethylene-polyethylene-polyethylene distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine of polyethylene glycol 750, salts of distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine of polyethylene glycol 1000, salts of distearoylphosphatidylethane lamin polyethylene glycol 2000, and mixtures thereof; preferably present in the composition in an amount of from 1 mM to about 30 mM based on the volume of the composition; and preferably, where the salt is optionally an ammonium salt or a sodium salt. ! 4.
