XR1 is the residue of an α-amino acid with X meaning -NH-. ! 2. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the compounds according to claim 1 are in the form of dermatologically compatible salts. ! 3. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the amino acid residues in the compounds according to claim 1 are in the form of racemates or pure enantiomeric L or D forms. ! 4. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the compound according to claim 1 of formula (I), in which R1 is hydrogen or alkyl with 1-20 carbon atoms, n is 2 or 4, and X is —O—, combine with the compound according to claim 1, of the general formula (I), in which, however, XR1 is the residue of a natural α-amino acid with X, which means -NH-, and n is 2.! 5. The composition according to claim 4, characterized in that the combined compounds are Palm-Lys-Val-Dab-OH and Palm-Lys-Val-Dab-Thr-OH. ! 6. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains the compounds according to claim 1 in a concentration of from 0.5 to 5000 parts by weight of per million, preferably from 1 to 1000 parts by weight per million. ! 7. The composition according to claim 1, especially a composition for topical application, characterized in that it further comprises a safe and effective amount of at least one other active skin care substance selected from the group comprising exfoliating
