abstract | 1. A glass unit containing at least two separate at a certain distance from each other sheets of glass with an insulating gas or a mixture of gases with low thermal conductivity located between them, and a gas-tight element containing a cured sealing composition obtained by curing a curable sealing composition containing :! a) at least one silane-terminated diorganopolysiloxane; ! b) at least one crosslinking agent for the silane-terminated diorganopolysiloxane (s); ! c) at least one catalyst for a crosslinking reaction; ! d) at least one inorganic-organic nanocomposite in an amount that improves gas insulation; and optionally! f) at least one solid polymer having a lower gas permeability than the crosslinked diorganopolysiloxane (s). ! 2. The insulating glass unit of claim 1, wherein the silane-terminated diorganopolysiloxane (a) has the general formula! MaDbD'c,! where a = 2, and b = 1 and c is zero or a positive number; M is! (BUT) 3-x-yR1 xR2 ySiO1 / 2,! where x is 0, 1 or 2 and y is either 0 or 1, subject to the limitation that x + y is less than or equal to 2, R1 and R2 are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group of up to 60 carbon atoms; D is! R3R4SiO1 / 2,! where R3 and R4 are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group of up to 60 carbon atoms; and D 'is! R5R6SiO2 / 2,! where R5 and R6 are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group of up to 60 carbon atoms. ! 3.
