titleOfInvention | INSULATED GLASS PACKAGE HAVING CURING AT ROOM TEMPERATURE WITH LOW GAS PERMEABILITY |
abstract | 1. An insulating glass unit containing at least two spaced apart glass sheets in spatial relation to each other, a gas with low thermal conductivity between them and a gas sealing element, including a curable sealant consisting of a) polydiorganosiloxane, showing permeability to the specified gas; b) at least one polymer having a permeability to the specified gas, which is less than the permeability of the polydiorganosiloxane polymer; c) a crosslinking agent; and d) a catalyst for the crosslinking reaction. ! 2. The insulating glass unit according to claim 1, in which the polydiorganosiloxane polymer, component (a), is a polydiorganosiloxane with a silanol termination having the formula! MaDbD'c,! in which a = 2, b≥1, c is zero or a positive integer,! M = (HO) 3-x-yR1 xR2 ySiO1 / 2,! in which x = 0, 1 or 2 and y = 0 or 1, provided that (x + y) ≤2, R1 and R2 are monovalent C1-C60 hydrocarbon radicals; ! D = R3R4SiO1 / 2,! in which R3 and R4 are monovalent C1-C60 hydrocarbon radicals; ! D '= R5R6SiO2 / 2,! in which R5 and R6 are independently selected from monovalent C1-C60 hydrocarbon radicals. ! 3. The insulating glass unit according to claim 1, wherein the polymer (b) is selected from the group consisting of low density polyethylene ((LDPE) (LDPE)), very low density polyethylene ((PEONP) (VLDPE)), linear low density polyethylene ( (LLDPE) (LLDPE)), high density polyethylene ((HDPE) (HDPE)), polypropylene ((PP) (PP)), polyisobutylene ((PIB) (PIB)), polyvinyl acetate ((PVAc) (PVAc)), polyvinyl alcohol ((PVA) (PVOH)), polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate ((PET) (PET)), polybutylene terephthalate ((PBTF) (PBT)), |
