titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR CONVERTING HYDROPHOBIC ACTIVE PROTEINS TO HYDROPHOBIC ACTIVE PROTEINS, THEIR APPLICATION FOR PRODUCING MONOMOLECULAR LAYERS OF ORIENTED ACTIVE PROTEINS, AND DEVICES INCLUDING AN AQUATIC WATERFLOW SOLID |
abstract | 1. A method of obtaining a hydrophobic or partially hydrophobic active protein, comprising the steps of interaction of an active water-soluble protein with a reagent capable of converting one or more hydrophilic amino acid residues to hydrophobic residues, in which the active center responsible for the activity of the protein is protected by carrying out a hydrophobization reaction in a homogeneous mixture of solvents with different polarity. ! 2. A method according to claim 1, comprising the steps of: dissolving an active water-soluble protein in an aqueous solution; dissolving the reagent in a less polar solvent at least partially miscible with water; obtaining a polar / less polar homogeneous mixture; as a result of which there is an interaction of the protein and the reagent; extraction of hydrophobized active protein. ! 3. The method of claim 2, further comprising dissolving a reversible ligand specific for the active site of the protein in an aqueous solution. ! 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the reagent capable of converting hydrophilic amino acid residues to hydrophobic residues is selected from the group consisting of alkylating, acylating, arylating compounds, diazo compounds, peptide bond forming compounds, Schiff's base forming compounds, or compounds, capable of introducing the hydrophobic part of the molecule. ! 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the active water-soluble protein is selected from the group consisting of enzymes, hormones, receptors, antigens, antibodies, allergens, immunoreactive proteins, their affinity partners and derivatives, their fragments and functional equivalents. ! 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the active water-soluble protein is selected from the group including |
