titleOfInvention REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIALS
abstract 1. A method of manufacturing a reinforced composite material, comprising coating a plurality of reinforcing fibers with a bonding agent, bonding at least one curable resin to said coated reinforcing fibers, and curing said at least one curable resin, wherein the cured resin adjacent to said reinforcing fibers defines an interfacial the border; wherein said reinforcing fibers are processed so that the properties of said interfacial boundary are substantially equivalent to the mass properties of the cured resin; wherein said treatment is a polymer coating and / or hydrophilic surface coating applied to said coated reinforcing fibers; wherein the polymer of said polymer coating is a monomer-deficient low active unsaturated polymer ester resin and said hydrophilic surface coating is prepared by reaction between a silane with a vinyl functional group and a polyol. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which the specified binding agent is a silane with a vinyl functional group. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, in which said silane with a vinyl functional group is selected from the group consisting of Dow Corning Z-6030 (methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane), Z-6032 (vinylbenzylaminoethylaminopropyltrimethoxysilane) and Z-6075 (vinyl-tris (acetoxy) silane) . ! 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein said polyol is trimetholylpropane. ! 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein said reinforcing fiber is a glass fiber. ! 6. The method according to claim 5, in which the length of the specified glass fiber is between about 100 and 1000 microns. ! 7. Method
