titleOfInvention | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IONTOPHORESIS FOR SYSTEM DELIVERY OF ACTIVE COMPONENTS |
abstract | 1. A method of easing pain in a sore spot of a subject through systemic delivery of at least one active component to a sore spot in a subject, the method comprising the following steps:! identify a painful spot in a subject; ! provide an iontophoretic delivery device comprising at least one active component; ! establish a device for delivery in place on the biological interface of the subject; ! driving a delivery device for the transdermal transfer of at least one active component through the biological interface of the subject into the circulatory system of the subject; and! delivering at least one active component to the painful spot of the subject through the circulatory system of the subject; ! wherein at least one active component is a β-kain class compound. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, additionally containing the following step: identify a place on the biological interface of the subject through which at least one active component can be transported into the circulatory system, which supplies the painful spot of the subject. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, further comprising the following step: installing an iontophoretic device for delivery in place on the biological interface, through which at least one active component can be transported. ! 4. The method according to claim 1, in which the pain is a neuropathic pain. ! 5. The method according to claim 4, in which the pain is associated with cancer; chemotherapy alcoholism; amputation (i.e., phantom pain syndrome after amputation of a limb); back problems, legs, or that |
