The extract according to claim 1, in which the dioscoreic family (Dioscoreaceae) is Dioscorea nipponica, Dioscorea quinqueoloba or Dioscorea tokoro. ! 3. The extract according to claim 1, in which peripheral neuropathy is a multiple neuropathy. ! 4. The extract according to claim 1, wherein said extract is obtained by carrying out an extraction process comprising extracting a whole plant of the Dioscoreaceae family, a root or aerial parts by a first extraction solvent selected from the group consisting of water, C1-C4 alcohol and a mixture water with alcohol C1-C4. ! 5.
