abstract | 1. Polyester composition, which includes polyester polymers and:! a) aluminum atoms; and! b) alkaline earth metal atoms or alkali metal atoms or alkali compound residues; and! c) particles that contain atoms of titanium, zirconium, vanadium, niobium, hafnium, tantalum, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, iron or nickel, or a combination thereof. ! 2. The composition according to claim 1, where the particles include compounds of transition metals, which contain atoms of boron, carbon and nitrogen; elementary transition metals and transition metal alloys, where the transition metal atoms are titanium, zirconium, vanadium, niobium, hafnium, tantalum, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, iron or nickel atoms, or a combination thereof. ! 3. The composition according to claim 2, where the average particle size is in the range from about 1 to about 500 nm, and where the particles are present in an amount of from about 1 to about 50 ppm of the total weight of the polyester composition. ! 4. The composition according to claim 1, where these particles contain titanium nitride. ! 5. The composition according to claim 1, where the polyester polymer is obtained by reacting an acid component containing at least 85 mol.% Terephthalic acid, naphthalene acid or their C1-C4 dialkyl ethers, with a diol component containing at least 90 mol% of ethylene glycol with respect to the molar percentage for all acidic components of 100 mol.%, and the molar percentage for all diol components of 100 mol.%. ! 6.
