titleOfInvention HIGH RESOLUTION DETECTOR FOR MEDICAL VISUALIZATION
abstract 1. A detector for a medical imaging system, containing! scintillator for receiving photons emitted by a visualization source; and! a SiPM layer (silicon photomultipliers) attached to the front plane of the scintillator, wherein said SiPM layer covers the entire surface of the front plane, which makes it possible to obtain information about the image being generated from the boundaries of the scintillator. ! 2. The detector according to claim 1, further comprising a SiPM layer attached to the back plane of the scintillator. ! 3. The detector according to claim 1, further comprising a SiPM layer attached to at least one side of the scintillator. ! 4. The detector according to claim 1, further comprising a SiPM layer attached to the rear plane of the scintillator and a SiPM layer attached to at least one side of the scintillator. ! 5. The detector according to claim 1, in which the scintillator is selected from the group consisting of sodium iodide, cesium iodide, lanthanum bromide, lanthanum chloride, lutetium orthosilicate, lutetium and yttrium orthosilicate, lutetium pyrosilicate, bismuth germanate, gadolinium gadolinium gadolinium orthosilicate and . ! 6. The detector according to claim 1, in which the intrinsic spatial resolution of the detector is smaller than 2 mm. ! 7. The detector according to claim 1, additionally containing at least one optical fiber located between the SiPM layer and the scintillator. ! 8. The detector according to claim 1, in which the total thickness of the scintillator and the SiPM layer is less than 20 mm ! 9. The detector according to claim 1, additionally containing a SiPM layer located on the rear plane of the scintillator and a fiber located between each SiPM layer and the scintillator, while the total thickness of the scintillator of the two layers
