abstract | 1. A method of producing trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride, including:! reaction of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid with phosphorus pentoxide to obtain trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride,! where solidification of the reaction solution occurs due to polyphosphoric acid which is produced as a by-product, and this is prevented by using an excess of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid with respect to phosphorus pentoxide. ! 2. The method for producing trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride according to claim 1, wherein the amount of phosphorus pentoxide relative to trifluoromethanesulfonic acid in terms of a molar ratio of 0.3 or less. ! 3. The method for producing trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride according to claim 1, wherein the amount of phosphorus pentoxide relative to trifluoromethanesulfonic acid in terms of a molar ratio is from 0.05 to 0.2. ! 4. A method for producing trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:! distilling off and recovering the obtained trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride, and then continuing the stripping in order to distill off and recover the unreacted trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. ! 5. A method for producing trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:! distilling off and recovering the obtained trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride under reduced pressure. |
