abstract | 1. A method of obtaining a polymer mixture, including! mixing in the mixing zone of the thermoplastic polymer, the grafted polyolefin, a moisture source and a crosslinker to obtain a thermoplastic polymer mixture comprising a matrix phase of a thermoplastic polymer, a reinforcing phase of at least partially crosslinked polyolefin and characterized by a gel content in the range of from about 10 to about 10 50 wt.%. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which the grafted polyolefin is obtained by reacting an ethylene polymer with a carboxylic acid anhydride and a free radical generator. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, in which the ethylene polymer is reacted with a carboxylic acid anhydride and a free radical generator before mixing in the mixing zone. ! 4. The method according to claim 2, in which the ethylene polymer is reacted with a carboxylic acid anhydride and a free radical generator in the mixing zone, which provides the inoculated polyolefin in place. ! 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the reinforcing phase of the thermoplastic polymer mixture comprises a partially crosslinked polyolefin. ! 6. The method according to claim 5, in which the partially crosslinked ethylene polymer is obtained by selective crosslinking of the previously grafted ethylene polymer in the mixing zone. ! 7. The method according to claim 5, in which the pre-grafted polymer is obtained in the mixing zone by combining the ethylene polymer with the carboxylic acid anhydride and the free radical generator and conducting the grafting reaction for the ethylene polymer for a predetermined period of time before combining with the crosslinker. ! 8.
