titleOfInvention | Inkjet Inks Containing Amine and Phthalocyanine Dye, Characterized by Improved Ozone Resistance |
abstract | 1. The ink composition for inkjet printing, including:! metallized phthalocyanine dye; and! a liquid base which is a carrier for the dye, wherein the liquid base includes an amine additive present in the ink jet ink in a concentration effective to provide improved ozone resistance of said ink jet ink,! where the improvement is determined by comparing the resistance to the action of ozone ink for inkjet printing and control ink for inkjet printing, which do not include an amine additive. ! 2. Ink for inkjet printing according to claim 1, where the amine additive is present in the ink composition for inkjet printing at a concentration of from 0.01 to 10 wt.% And where the metallized phthalocyanine dye is present in the ink composition for inkjet printing at a concentration of from 0.01 up to 10 wt.%. ! 3. Inkjet ink according to claim 1, where the amine additive is a polyamine. ! 4. Inkjet ink according to claim 3, where the polyamine is selected from the group consisting of N-methyl-1,3-propanediamine, 1,10-phenanthroline, diethylenetriamine, triethylenediamine, N, N-diethylethylenediamine, homopiperazine, piperazine, piperazine -2-carboxylic acid, 1,8-bis [dimethylamino] naphthalene (proton sponge), N- (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazine-N '- (2-ethanesulfonic acid) (HEPES), 4- (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazine -1-propanesulfonic acid (EPPS) and combinations thereof. ! 5. Inkjet ink according to claim 1, where the amine additive is a heterocyclic amine additive that does not contain an oxygen atom in the ring structure. ! 6. Ink for inkjet printing according to claim 1, where in the composition of the ink for inkjet printing, the amine additive is protonated. ! 7. Cher |
