titleOfInvention | WATER-SOLUBLE LOW-SUBSTITUTED HYDROXYETHYL CELLULOSE, ITS DERIVATIVES, METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND APPLICATION |
abstract | 1. A composition comprising hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) containing hydroxyethyl groups that are evenly distributed in the main chain of cellulose, where the proportion of unsubstituted trimers (NDS) is less than about 0.21, water solubility exceeds about 90%, and hydroxyethyl molar substitution exceeds about 0.7 and is less than about 1.3. ! 2. The composition according to claim 1, in which the hydroxyethyl cellulose is further modified by one or more substituents containing a chemical functional group selected from the group consisting of nonionic, anionic, cationogenic groups and mixtures thereof. ! 3. The composition according to claim 2, in which the substituents are attached to the main chain of hydroxyethyl cellulose via an ether, ester or urethane binder residue. ! 4. The composition according to claim 2, contained in which the substituents have a nonionic chemical functional group. ! 5. The composition according to claim 4, in which the substituents correspond to the formula --R or --A-R,! where A is selected from the group including! CH2-CH (OH), CH2-CH (OH) -CH2,! (CH3-CH2-O) n, where n is from 1 to 100,! CH2-CH (OH) -CH2-O- (CH2-CH2-O) n, where n is from 1 to 100, and! CH (R) -C (O) -CH 2,! and R is selected from the group consisting of! I) acyclic or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, branched or linear hydrocarbon residue containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms,! II) an acyclic or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, branched or linear heterohydrocarbon residue containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms and one or more oxygen, nitrogen or silicon atoms,! Iii) acyclic or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, branched or linear hydrocarbon |
