titleOfInvention IMPROVED METHOD FOR ALKOXYLING COMPOUNDS CONTAINING ACTIVE HYDROGEN AND ALKOXYLED COMPOUNDS OBTAINED IN SUCH METHOD
abstract 1. A method of producing a polyether, comprising (i) obtaining an initiator by reacting a vegetable oil, animal fat, fatty acid or an alkyl ester of a fatty acid in the presence of a functionalizing catalyst with the introduction of hydroxyl groups therein to form an initiator, (ii) obtaining a mixture of an initiator, containing at least a portion of the functionalizing catalyst obtained in step (i), an alkylene oxide and a metal cyanide catalytic complex; and (iii) creating conditions for the mixture sufficient to activate the catalytic complex and alkoxylate the initiator compound to produce a polyether. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the functionalizing catalyst is a catalyst that contains tin, titanium, rhodium, nickel, enzyme, acid, iodine, or a combination thereof. The method of claim 2, wherein the functionalizing catalyst is a catalyst that contains tin, titanium, or a combination thereof. The method of claim 3, wherein the functionalizing catalyst is tin (II) octanate, tin (II) 2-ethylheptanate, dibutyltin (IV) dilaurate, titanium tetraisopropoxide, titanium tetraisobutoxide, or a combination thereof. The process according to claim 1, wherein the initiator is a modified vegetable oil, which is a polyol consisting of (I) and (II), where R is the residue of a polyol, polyamine or amino alcohol initiator, X and X 'may be the same or different, and represent O, N or NH, p is an integer from 1 to 5, q is an integer from 1 to 5, where p + q is in the range from 3 to 8, t is an integer from 3 to 8, and A can be the same or
