titleOfInvention A device for treating burns in a controlled wet environment
abstract The utility model relates to medical equipment and may find application in the treatment of injuries caused by burns in humans. The device belongs to the field of medicine, namely combustiology, is aimed at activating the processes of reparative regeneration of the skin and its derivatives and can be used to treat burn wounds. The aim of our proposal is to create an optimal environment for healing a burn wound. It is known that the wound heals faster under certain physiological conditions, in particular a constant temperature of 36 ° C, humidity optimal for the regeneration of damaged tissues, isolation of the wound from infection. Therefore, one of the essential factors for wound healing is a moist wound medium, which promotes cell division and autolysis of affected tissues. When a wound heals in a humid environment, growth factors remain, the probability of secondary tissue damage and infection is reduced. The technical result is the activation of the processes of reparative regeneration of the skin and its derivatives, leading to accelerated healing of burn wounds. Creating optimal conditions for wound healing shortens the preparation time for surgical treatment and the overall duration of treatment, increases the comfort of treatment and reduces the risk of complications, reduces the cost of treatment. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the device for treating burns in a controlled moist environment, characterized in that it consists from: a bed frame consisting of sections, a mesh holding the victim, an arc supporting the insulating bag, an arc for fixing the hands of the victim, an insulating bag with cuffs, sleeves and lightning, nozzles for spraying a solution, a unit for preparing a solution and air with supply and intake hoses of a solution, a container for a solution. A prototype device for treating extensive burns on the surface of a person’s body has been created. The device maintains the body temperature of the victim by means of a stream of warm air with a predetermined temperature supplied to the chamber with the victim. Increased humidity in the affected areas of the body is provided by applying a therapeutic solution to the surface by spraying. The device was developed taking into account the actual possibilities of using it in medical institutions.
