titleOfInvention Method of radioactive wastes isolation in open space and use of a boost unit for its implementation
abstract Usage: the invention relates to the field of methods and means for the isolation of radioactive waste (RW) of nuclear power plants and other nuclear industries in outer space. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: In order to increase the relative mass of the removed RW in the composition of the space rocket, it is proposed that, when containerized, the introduction of a-emitting radionuclides with a half-life of 1 ... 10 years into their composition. the radiogenic gases of which are outside the scope of the Earth are used as the working fluid of the rocket engine of the second stage of the upper stage along with the regular working fluid. In the booster block, this is ensured by the presence of a line for supplying radiogenic gases from the cavity of the container with radioactive waste to the second stage rocket engine. RAO matrices are installed in the container cavity with gaps in relation to each other and with the walls of the container cavity. To counter abnormal situations, the container is equipped with a drain valve and a normally closed pyro valve. 2 sec and 2 C.p. f-ly, 2 ill.
