abstract | The invention relates to the mining industry and can be used for storing tailings. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of storing rare-earth elements of the yttrium subgroup due to selective layer-by-layer deposition, useful components while reducing storage costs. Tails are laid on the drainage rocks in the base layers. Tails containing the last members of the yttrium subgroup with a high content of useful components are laid in the lower layer. Tails containing the first members of the yttrium subgroup with a high content are laid on them, and the upper layer is formed from tails containing rare earth elements that make up the lower layers with a low content of the useful component.
