titleOfInvention | MICROFLUID CELL FOR DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS OF CRYSTALLIZATION OF PROTEINS FROM CHARACTERISTICS OF SMALL ANGULAR SCATTERING OF X-RAY RAYS |
abstract | The utility model relates to devices for determining the crystallization conditions of protein macromolecules and can be used to obtain protein crystals in order to determine the structure of protein molecules of industrial and medical value. The technical result is the ability to quickly determine the optimal conditions for crystallization of proteins. To achieve this, a microfluidic cell is proposed for determining the conditions of protein crystallization by the characteristics of small-angle X-ray scattering, containing a housing with a centrally located hole in which a crystallization chamber is formed, connected by microchannels with holes for input and output of protein solutions, on the external sides of which there are windows made of material transparent to x-ray and optical radiation. Windows are made of mica or quartz glass. The casing consists of three thermally welded plates made of polymethyl methacrylate. 2 cpf, 7 ill., 1 tab. |
