abstract | Usage: refrigeration engineering. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: an air cooler comprises a casing 2 with inside the evaporative sections 1 of the heat pipes and an additional heat exchanger 3 adjacent to the body 2, in which the condensing sections of these pipes are located, the evaporating sections 1 of the pipes being finned, the condensing sections are made of pipe tubes and the pipes are inclined to horizontal plane towards evaporative sections. The heat exchanger 3 is filled with salts of a eutectic concentration solution and is equipped with a finned coil 4 with nozzles 5 and b placed inside for supplying and discharging refrigerant.
