titleOfInvention Method for prognostication of effectiveness of mountain-climatic treatment of patients ill with bronchial asthma
abstract Usage: medicine, pulmonologists. The method is carried out by conducting a test with recurring isocapnic hypoxia with a decrease in blood oxygen saturation of up to 80%. The initial volume and time of the inspiratory flow are determined, the cardiac index is calculated in the initial state, and then at 80% SaOz level. The data obtained are substituted into the formula and the forecast index is calculated: IPr: Ypr 38x (ref VT / Ti) 3 - 22.1 (+ 8 where ref VT is the initial volume of the inspiratory flow, l; ref TI is the initial inspiration time, s; ref SI is the initial cardiac index, l / m2; SI is the difference between the SI indicators of the source and at the sample height, l / m2, 38, 22, 1, 8 are the coefficients obtained when solving nonlinear regression equations with two unknowns. +8 and above, the effectiveness of high-altitude therapy is predicted; at minus 1 and below, the inefficiency of the above treatment method; IPR values up to +2 - the prognosis is zero, ie treatment with an alpine climate does not have a positive or negative effect on the course of the disease. The method allows targeted preliminary selection of patients with bronchial asthma for alpine climatotherapy.
