abstract The invention relates to medicine and can be used to treat dysentery, especially in the elderly. The purpose of the invention is to shorten the treatment time. The goal is achieved by additionally administering a decoction of alder fruit in an amount of 50-100 mm 3 times a day, as well as amben and riboxin in therapeutic doses. The method allows to reduce the treatment time from 16.6 to 12.2 days.
