abstract | Usage: the invention can be used in plant biotechnology, practical biochemistry to determine the degree of protein purification in the process of their isolation from plant material. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: a sample of the preparation is prepared for analysis by film from a solution of prolamine in 70% dioxane on optical glass, dried under vacuum, the infrared spectrum of prolamine is recorded in the region of 2800-3700, the absorbance value is determined at the absorption maxima at 2925-2930 and 3295-3310 and calculate the ratio of optical densities at the maxima of the absorption bands. Compare the obtained value with the value for the purified sample of 0.35-0.55.
