abstract | FIELD: plastic scintillators. SUBSTANCE: plastic scintillator contains (in % by mass): 1,3-diphenyl benzene fraction from diphenyl production wastes 10-40; 2,5 diphenyl oxazole 0.1-1.0; 1,4-bis-(2,5- (diphenyl oxazolile) benzene 0.05-0.08; polymethyl methacrylate - up to 100. The scintillator is photo- and gamma- irradiation resistant. By the dose of 10 5 Gy the light output reduction comprises 50% of the initial value.
