The mechanism for fixing the welding head on the pipeline contains two two-shoulder clamping levers that can be mounted on the base of the welding head with the possibility of rotation, a clamping insert is installed on one of the arms of each of the levers, as well as a spring. The mechanism is equipped with a stop made in the form of a two-shouldered lever mounted to rotate on one of the two-shoulder clamping levers and spring-loaded relative to it, as well as a rotary lever, an adjusting screw is installed on one of the stop shoulders in contact with the two-shoulder clamp lever, and to the second shoulder of the stop a spring is connected at the end, the second end of which is connected to the middle part of the pivot arm, at one end of which a handle is mounted, and at the other end it is connected to the shoulder of the second, which does not carry the clamping insert two shoulders clamping lever. 3 ill.
