abstract The utility model relates to the field of pyrotechnics and can be used in systems for displacing or aerating liquids or powders. The gas generator comprises a housing with a gas outlet, a gas generating charge made of a pyrotechnic composition installed in the housing, an ignition device located on the side opposite to the gas outlet. Between the igniter and the gas-generating charge there is an initiating charge made of a pyrotechnic composition. A tubular sleeve is installed along the axis of the gas-generating charge, one end of which is connected to the gas outlet through the collectors and the filter element, and an element in the form of a plate with a central hole in communication with the tubular sleeve and through slots into which the pyrotechnic composition is pressed provides, at the other end transfer of combustion from an initiating charge to a gas generating one. Using a utility model reduces the rate of increase in gas pressure in the receiver; provides small dimensions of the device and improves its operational characteristics. 2 cpf, 2 ill.
