Plastic scintillator torus |
abstract |
The invention relates to plastic scintillator (PS) based HotmaHpyrcomx radiation detectors and can be used in devices for detecting low-energy photon radiation with an energy of 20,200 keV. It is an object of the invention to increase the detection efficiency of I low-energy (20-200 keV) ionizing radiation. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that, as meta-containing compounds: included in a plastic scintillator, alkyl compounds of tin or lead with a content of up to 30 wt.% Are used. An advantage of the proposed PS is its high light output at a concentration of the metal-containing compound. This will allow achieving a scorillator horror resolution and expanding the scope of their use for spectrometric purposes. 1 tab. with |
