The technical result consists in simplifying the design of the device, reducing energy consumption, increasing the efficiency of cleaning exhaust gases from toxic compounds in order to reduce atmospheric pollution. The result is achieved by the fact that the device for cleaning exhaust gases contains an electronic circuit, an exhaust pipe for collecting and discharging gas, and a housing mounted and fixed to the exhaust pipe. In this case, the electronic circuit is made in the form of a single unit of an energy converter, including an electric motor, a relay distributor, an induction coil and a switch. The energy converter is connected by wires to a reactor, including arresters, mounted and fixed on the outer surface of the reactor vessel in a spiral fashion relative to the central axis of the reactor vessel and in a helical line relative to the surface of the reactor vessel in increments of D / 2, where D is the diameter of the vessel. The angle of inclination of the arresters to the central axis of the reactor a is 22 ° -90 °. Opposite each spark gap of the first row of arresters on the side of the guide apparatus there is one of the holes of the guide apparatus, made in the form of a round plate with holes, and installed inside the reactor vessel in front of the arresters. After the arresters, trap ribs are placed along the helix inside the reactor vessel, and a coal dust bin is installed on the outside of the vessel.
