The present invention relates to a method for preventing or treating neurodegenerative disorders which comprises administering to a subject in need of a therapeutically effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of formula (I) and formula (II), wherein the phenyl is substituted with X, with one to five atoms halogens selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine; and R 1, R 2, R 3, R 4, R 5 and R 6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C 1 -C 4 alkyl; wherein C1-C4 alkyl is optionally substituted with phenyl (wherein phenyl is optionally substituted with substituents independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, amino, nitro and cyano). |
