abstract | A process for preparing a compound of formula (I): wherein R 1 is a group represented by the formula: wherein each of R 2, R 3, R 4, R 5, R 6, R 7 and R 8 is independently a hydrogen atom or C 1-6 alkyl, or a salt thereof, comprising the following steps: (1) reacting a compound of formula (II): or a salt thereof, with an acylating reagent (III): wherein X is a halogen atom and R 12 is alkyl, alkoxy or phenyl optionally substituted by a halogen atom, a C 1-6 alkyl or nitro group , in the presence of a base to give a mixture of acid anhydride and the reaction of a mixture of acid anhydride with alcohol (IV): HO-R1 (IV) wherein R1 is as previously defined, in the presence of a base allowing esterification, (2) the reaction of a compound of formula (II): or salts thereof, with thionyl chloride or oxalyl chloride in the presence of a catalyst to give the acid chloride, and then reacting the acid chloride with an alcohol (IV): HO-R1 (IV) wherein R1 is as previously defined, in the presence of a base to allow esterification, (3) reacting a compound of formula (II): or a s oli, with an alkylating agent (V): X '-R1 (V) wherein X' is a halogen atom and R1 is as previously defined, optionally in the presence of a base to allow esterification, or (4) the reaction of a compound of formula (II): or salts thereof, with an alcohol (IV): HO-R1 (IV) wherein R1 is as previously defined, in the presence of a condensing agent to allow esterification.
