Use of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a hydrophilic gel-forming agent, water, wetting and dispersing agents and compounds according to formula I or a physiologically acceptable salt of a compound according to formula I, wherein R 1, R 2 and R 3 are the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R4 represents a saturated hydrocarbon with 6 to 9 carbon atoms, to obtain a drug in the form of a gel for the treatment and prophylaxis of skin mycoses.
