titleOfInvention NEW LOW-DOSAGE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING, USING, AND USING NIMESULIDE
abstract A low dosage pharmaceutical dosage form comprising nimesulide or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, solvates or hydrates thereof, together with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, is provided. The present invention also provides a method for preparing such dosage forms and a therapeutic method for using such dosage forms. Low-dose compositions are formulated to exhibit such bioavailability, which is effective for treating NS AID-indicated disorders, especially those requiring long-term treatment regimens such as arthritis. Such compositions reduce the cost of treating diseases that require long-term therapies, are easy to produce, and also reduce dose-related side effects associated with nimesulide therapy.
