abstract The invention relates to a process for obtaining a green glass melt which consists in the introduction of cobalt, copper and sodium dichromate oxides into the mixture of sand, calcined soda, calcium carbonate, potassium carbonate and sodium sulphate, homogenizing the mixture for 10 minutes in a batch mixer and melting at 1480 degrees C for 12 hours in a refractory crucible furnace to obtain a green-blue bottle used to house household articles .
