titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR REALIZING A WATER SEPARATOR FILTER |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for producing a water-air separator filter, particularly for removing air from a water circulation system at different temperatures. The process according to the invention consists in the wetting of the powder obtained by fine grinding of some chemically resistant glass fragments, retaining the fraction less than * 45 microns, with a solution of 15% polyvinyl alcohol followed by pressing in the molds, the discs obtained by the pressures being subjected to an 800 ° C recovery for 10 minutes, after which they are treated for hydrophobization by immersion in a 25% ureaisilicon solution in carbon tetrachloride for 15 minutes, finally applying a heat treatment consolidation at 300 degrees C for 120 minutes. |
