titleOfInvention ANTIAGLOMERATED PRODUCT FOR AMMONIUM NITROGEN AND OTHER FLAVORS
abstract The present invention relates to an anti-agglomerating product which can be sprayed onto ammonium nitrate granules or other fertilizers which, in admixture with ammonium nitrate, tends to agglomerate. The agglomeration capacity of ammonium nitrate is determined by the formation of different crystalline forms, the binding of the particles to the compression, the high moisture content of the finished product and its hygroscopicity. The agglomeration capacity of sodium nitrate can be raised by granulating the product, moving the moisture content, cooling it to temperatures below 30 ° C before packing and storing it by processing it with certain substances. Advanced drying of ammonium nitrate reduces the agglomeration tendency but at the same time decreases decomposition stability.
