FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a flame retardant rubber composition used in the manufacture of a carrier tape with textile inserts for the mining industry. The composition allows the realization of the mining carcass, which has a proper behavior in the working conditions of the deep mining exploitations, respectively that resists the action of the fire in the gallery, the forced friction tests on the drum and antistatization. The proposed solution uses a basic blend of crosslinked polyethylene terephthalate elastomer with a suitable vulcanization system, a phenylamine type protection system, reinforced with a special type of carbon black and fed with specific ingredients. |
