titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR OBTAINING NICHEL SULPHATE
abstract The present invention relates to a process for obtaining nickel sulfamate, electrolyte for galvanic baths. The process is based on the reaction between freshly precipitated nickel carbonate or freshly precipitated nickel hydroxide or reactive nickel hydroxide prepared under preconditioned conditions and high purity crystalline sulfamic acid and is achieved by the gradual mixing of the wet sulfamic acid with the basic carbonate precipitate or nickel hydroxide, starting at ambient temperature and up to about 60 degrees C and separating the solution obtained from the colloidal suspensions by centrifugation.
