titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR OBTAINING HYDRAZODICARBOXAMIDE
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of hydrazodicarboxamide by reacting urea with hydrazine monohydrochloride or hydrazine dihydrochloride in the presence or absence of alkali hydroxides such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide as such or mixed in an aqueous medium , at certain molar ratios between the reactants, at defined contact time, at temperatures between 100 and 130 degrees C, yielding between 70 and 90% yields relative to hydrazine hydrochloride.
