titleOfInvention | MICROEMULSION APPLYING ORGANIC SUBSTANCES AND PREPARATION PROCEDURE |
abstract | The aqueous microemulsion of organic substances and the preparation process according to the invention contain as surfactant a compound of N-acyl-alpha-amino acid which corresponds to the general formula (see formula on page 1 of the description), where R and R 'are aliphatic radicals. linear or branched or alkylaryl radicals, R is 6 to 120 carbon atoms, R is 18 carbon atoms, M is an alkali or alkaline earth metal cation, ammonium, amine or hydrogen, the preparation being made in the presence of saline aqueous solutions. The process for the preparation of microemulsions according to the present invention consists in mixing one or more hydrocarbons with water, with a surfactant, a coagent and possibly other adjuvants, in a manner known per se, the surfactant being one or more many N-acyl-alpha-amino acid salts of the type (see formula on page 1 of the description), where each of the radicals R and R 'represents a linear or branched aliphatic radical, or an aryl radical, R being 6. .120 carbon atoms, preferably with 12 ... 60 carbon atoms, especially with 16 ... 32 carbon atoms and R 'containing 1 ... 18 carbon atoms, M is an alkaline, alkaline cation earth, ammonium, amine radical or hydrogen. The radical R is preferably an alkyl, preferably heavy, i.e. an alkyl containing at least 6 carbon atoms, and more often 16-32 carbon atoms. The acyl radical may be lower and may be acetyl, propionyl, butyryl, etc., but it may as well be derived from a fatty acid, R 'is radical with 6 or more carbon atoms, but, of preferably, it contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
